How much of a deposit do I need to pay?

We require a 50% deposit to secure your booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival.

I don’t have a credit card, how can I pay?

You can pay via direct deposit into our bank account or paypal. Please contact Flynns Hill at stay@flynnshill.com.au for bank account details. Deposits need to be paid within three working days of making the booking.

How far is Kyneton from Melbourne?

Kyneton is just 94 kilometres from the city. By car from the CBD, the journey takes about an hour and by train, about an hour and 10 minutes.

How do we get there?

Coming from Melbourne you can take the Calder freeway. An hourly V/Line train service operates from Southern Cross Station.

Is firewood provided for the open fire?

You are provided with sufficient firewood for the duration of your stay. Please note this is not intended as the primary source of heating and is for ambience only.

Can we have a function or party of Flynns Hill?

Please be aware the property rental is based on private, residential use only. Parties, events, functions etc are not permitted.

Do you allow pets at Flynns Hill?

Flynns Hill is a strictly no pet property.

Where do I pick up the keys for our accommodation?

Flynns Hill has an electronic keypad entry system so no keys are required. You will be allocated your key code prior to arrival.

What time is check in?

Check-in is from 3pm daily.

What about check-out?

Checkout is prior to Midday daily.

Can we check in early?

Due to the generous check-out time of 12 noon, an early check-in is not always possible. An early check in at 12.00 pm may be made available on request where possible.

Can we have a late check out?

If we have a booking for the evening, we need to prepare the property for the next guests so a late checkout is not always possible. We will arrange a later checkout, wherever possible when the property does not have an immediate future booking. Late checkout is to a maximum of 2.00pm before additional charges will be incurred.

Is linen provided?

Bed linen (sheets, blankets, pillows, doonas) and bath towels are all provided. You are of course welcome to bring your own pillow, rug, or teddy bear.

Do we have to clean up? 

The property is required to be neat and tidy on departure, including all dishes washed or in the dishwasher with the dishwasher on, the BBQ cleaned if used and rubbish/recycling placed in the correct bins at the front gate. If waste items are placed in the incorrect bins, a surcharge will apply as our maintenance staff will have to re sort them prior to collection. There should be sufficient bin space for your stay. In the event you have excess rubbish/recycling, you will be required to take this with you. Any rubbish remaining at the property will incur a disposal fee at the relevant rate. We also ask that you refrain from moving furniture around. Thanks!
