• Burgers at Major Toms (Piper’s Street, ph. 5422 6395). If you have kids (or kids at heart) book the arcade game table. Some nights there will be a visiting Band.

• Pizzas are good from the Pizza and Wine Club (High St, ph. 54 226 007), and they deliver.

• Source Dining and Midnight Starling are very good. For pre/post drinks head to Animus Distillery.

• Morning coffee and breakfast from Little Swallow (Piper Street) or Monsieur Pierre (Mollison St).

• Shopping on Piper and Mollison Streets. Farmers Market every second Saturday.

• Grist (Piper Street) for the best almond croissant you will ever have.

• Playground at the Kyneton Botanical Gardens with outdoor table tennis and giant swing.

• In summer head to Turpin Falls, a beautiful waterhole for swimming. 

About Kyneton

• Kyneton has a large Woolworths supermarket and a number of bottle shops. The Supermarket is a 8 minute drive from the house.
